Andrei Konchalovsky's Runaway Train (1985) is a rare example of a successful Hollywood movie by a Russian emigre director (now he's back in Moscow working in the theatre, I think); it seems to have inspired this little video disquisition on American-Russian cultural difference (marquisdejolie).
